Splitgate is back! Splitgate 2 expands upon the Halo meets Portal gameplay we loved from the original with slicker movement and new faction based gameplay and abilities. Its already hard enough to keep track of players flying in and out of portals, so playing on high ping connection will put you at a huge disadvantage.
That's why playing on the best Splitgate 2 servers is crucial for the best gameplay experience. The game server you connect to is the main factor that determines your ping in Splitgate 2. The farther away the game server you connect to is, the higher the delay will be due to the time it takes your game data to travel, and therefor the higher your ping.
But luckily, we've been testing Splitgate 2 during the alpha/ beta periods and now at the official launch to find where the game servers are located. We'll continue to test and update the server locations leading up to the launch of the game as we'd expect 1047 Games will add more servers due to the games popularity.

Splitgate 2 Server Status
Even if you're playing on the best Splitgate 2 servers, if they are experiencing issues or overloaded this may cause your connection quality to suffer. The best way to keep up to date with any Splitgate 2 server issues or downtime is their official X accounts. Splitgate 2 Status posts about any game server issues or downtime, whereas Splitgate is more generic game news.
If there are server issues present, there is no direct fix for it. 1047 Games will have to update or repair the servers before your connection returns to normal. If specific servers are experiencing issues, you can use the R3's Geo-Filter feature to change what server you play on to enjoy a better connection quality.
